iEARN Presentations on International Interaction Opportunities through FTE Member Organizations

iEARN has presented information and materials on the Friendship Through Education at numerous educational events. Some of the key ones include:

June 2002 - NECC (National Education and Computing Conference). In addition to an exhibit booth at which the Rosetta Stone Arabic Language software was distributed, iEARN arranged for FTE to be the keynote presentation on the third day of the NECC conference. Teachers and students from Egypt and Pakistan shared their experiences with 5,000 educators. iEARN also presented a videotape on the Friendship Through Education, which was then also shared with educators wishing to show it locally.

July 2002 - iEARN International Conference, Moscow, Russia. Teachers shared with 600 other educators how they had used technology to interact through the links made through the Friendship Throuigh Education

July 2003 - iEARN International Conference, Awaji, Japan. Teachers and students from 15 countries with significant Muslim populations shared with 1200 other educators how they had used technology to interact with US and other schools worldwide.
