Sister Cities International - Students Engaged Internationally through FTE

Sister Schools of San Diego:

  • 5000 students at schools in Afghanistan (Kabul, Mazar-i- Sharif, & Jalalabad) have had direct and indirect participation with international communication exchange
  • 10 schools in San Diego, reflecting approximately 600 students participated in international communication exchange
  • The communication exchange was achieved via corresponding through videos, audio tapes and personal journals. Personal journals contain snapshots of both life at school and their private lives.
